Brief History
The Houston Cougar Foundation is a self-endowed, 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization established in 2014. The foundation was established to provide low-cost endowment funding in support of the University of Houston through athletics.
*Total administrative fees approximately 1.5%.
In August 2014, Matthew Houston became the first president and chairman of the board of the Houston Cougar Foundation. Houston is a graduate of the Bauer College of Business, earning a BBA in Finance in 2002.
