Mission

The mission of the Houston Cougar Foundation is to solicit, manage and distribute private gifts and donations for the benefit of the University of Houston through athletics.

Brief History

logo_aboutThe Houston Cougar Foundation is a self-endowed, non-profit organization established in 2014. The foundation was established to provide low-cost endowment funding in support of the University of Houston through athletics.

In August 2014, Matthew Houston became the first president and chairman of the board of the Houston Cougar Foundation. Houston is a graduate of the Bauer College of Business, earning a BBA in Finance in 2002.
